"Flamex is a fire-resistant, heat resistant and sound absorbing foam with open cells. It is fabricated on the basis of melamine synthetics. Flamex withstands high temperatures, is flame-resistant and minimises smoke development in case of fire.
It has very good sound-absorption and thermal-insulating properties. The foam is available with or without a self-adhesive glue layer. Flamex easy to work with; its specific properties lend themselves to a broad range of applications."
